Adoption Fundraiser Announcement - Round 2

Hi friends! For those of you that are new to my site, WELCOME! This little corner of the Internet is where I talk about the messy world of parenting littles, the uncertainty that comes with military life, the unpredictability of foster care, and how I search for God's grace in the ashes of my life. In just a few short weeks, I will also be releasing my first book that is available for pre-order beginning October 12th! (Release Date is December 6th).

To celebrate my book's release, I want to honor a family who is actively pursuing adoption!

If you followed me back in March of this year, you know that I hosted my first adoption fundraiser for The Powers family and it was a resounding success! My friends and followers rallied together and raised over $2,000 to help the Powers bring their daughter home - I was floored, humbled and flabberghasted. My people love so hard and I had such a blast hosting a party for them. So you know what? I want to do it ALL OVER AGAIN. Will you join me?!

First things first - WE NEED TO FIND AN ADOPTIVE FAMILY! Do you know one?

• We are looking for families actively pursuing adoption. At a minimum, they must have completed their home study and are actively in the process of adopting. Families who have already FINALIZED their adoption, but still owe money to an adoption agency, are unfortunately not eligible. If you or someone you know fits this criteria, click HERE to enter the giveaway. (Please note: all checks will be sent directly to the Adoption Agency). All entries must be received by 11:59 p.m PST. on October 20th, 2016. The lucky family will be announced on October 21st via my Facebook Page

So how are we gonna raise this money, you ask? This fundraiser is going to be one part Noonday Collection, one part McKinley's Book, one part Donation and ALL PARTS FUN.

First Part: Noonday Collection. Have you heard of it? If not, click HERE immediately and check out ALL THE THINGS! Don't you want every single piece? The best part of Noonday, however, is not the gorgeous jewelry and accessories, but rather their mission as a company. Cherish the babes? Empower the women? Give people jobs? Yes, ma'am, I'm in! So on November 19th, I'll throw a big ol' party for my local friends in honor of the lucky family. (But don't worry, everyone can shop online!) Once the shopping is complete, Noonday will donate 10% of all the Adoption Trunk Show sales to the lucky family, AND my Noonday ambassador friend, Jill, will match Noonday's 10% donation as well -thereby giving the adoptive family 20% of all sales! Christmas time is a comin' friends, so why not shop for a cause?!

Second Part: McKinley's Book. On October 12th, my book Parenting Littles is Fun and Easy: Dispelling the Myths of Motherhood One Devotion at a Time, will be available for Pre-Order! But these pre-orders are special because they are for SIGNED copies only! In addition to all of the extra goodies you will receive when you preorder, I will be donating 10% of my pre-order sales to the adoptive family! Buy my book and help a baby. It's that simple!

Third Part: Donations. As always, some people feel compelled to give without receiving ANYTHING in return. I adore you and think you are an incredible blessing. Thank you for your heart to care for adoptive families - it is awe-inspiring! Once the lucky family is selected, I will set up a Give, Send, Go page to receive donations directly.
